I think they've been photoshopped. Her face looks much crisper than the rest of the body would would suggest that it had been added onto another body. The lighting, however, is very convincing. The light comes in through the window at the exact same angle. The only difference is that the light on the face looks much brighter than the light on the body.

My opinion: it's fake. But, stranger things have happened.

To preface: Please be careful when you're searching & clicking around for this sort of thing. Spyware and Malware companies feed on news like this and even the best of us get tagged when this sort of stuff comes up.

The photos, they're fake.

If they were real, there would have been more marketing value behind them. Think "Brittnay Spears Limo", the context of those photos and the way in which they were distributed.

The only reason why I might guess that Perry's camp may want a photo like those to exist right now is to fill the marketing void between successful singles. However, again, none of the other elements work.

There are a ton of technical reasons how the photo could be declared fake including: Colouring, lighting, her nose, a smudge that exists, etc.
