I've listened to everything he's made from Big Ben to We Are The World and Scream. I loved his music, yet I thought he was a little creepy because I didn't understand why his skin went from black to white. My mom tried to explain it to me a few years ago that he has a disease called vitiligo.
I don't care about what the paparazzi says about him. He is a human being just like the rest of us. He may have done some stupid things in his lifetime, but haven't we all? Let him rest in peace.
I'm watching the news right now on ABC and they're doing a story on his life.
After all the news is said and done, I think a tribute video should be added to the Michael Jackson Memorial page. Pictures, music, and maybe a music video or two should be included in it. Who cares how long it is? It's Michael Jackson! He's a pop icon!

I will remember him as one of my 1st music influences. Back when I was a kid, my parents bought the Thriller album on vinyl record and I used to dance to it all the time. I even got the moon walk down pretty well. Even with all the controversy surrounding his later career, I still support him. He will be truly missed.

A brilliant but troubled individual. Maybe the best thing that I saw him in was the space 3D video at Disneyland. Here is a link; http://video.acasa.ro/view_video/9142b67e41ab640c0a00/michael_jackson_-_beat_it.html

I'm going to remember him as I always have: an icon of the music industry and someone who changed the music industry back in the 80's. Say what you will about the person himself, but you cannot doubt his influence on music today, be it r&b, pop, rock, or other genres.
