Why was Michael Cardosi in prison?

Michael Cardosi was identified as a boyfriend and possible former husband of the murdered model Jasmine Fiore. Investigators say she met him when he was released from prison on August 11, 2009, four days before her death.

Does anyone know why he was in prison in the first place?

Michael Cardosi was apparently convicted of felony evasion and drug charges for his time in prison.

According to the testimony, Moyer left a voice mail message for Cardosi in February placing an order for drugs. He indicated that he needed the drugs before a party he was hosting a few days later.

Michael Cardosi was the ex-husband of slain model Jasmine Fiore. He was released from prison on August 11,2009 for drug-related charges. He was recently sent back to jail for violating the terms of his parole. He was released from Riverside County Jail on Friday,
