Chris Brown on Larry King...

In a preview of his interview with Larry King, Chris Brown states that he does not remember the domestic violence incident with Rihanna. He later released a statement saying that was taken out of context and he does actually remember the incident.

When was he telling the truth? What's your take on this?

Nice bow tie, Chris.

Yeah, that man is lying. Notice the way he hesitates, and the trips all over himself to explain that. Think about it, if you were involved in an assault, and didn't remember it, what would your reaction be to the question, "Do you remember doing it?"

My reaction? Would be to express my surprise when I say no.Lifted eyebrows, shaking my head in disbelief, with remorse and even possibly tears at the thought that I might not remember a violent act I committed. Actually act it out to yourself, how might you react?

Well, we see how Chris did. He looks down, hesitates, and just quietly says no. Then starts fumbling to say "It's crazy to me, like, wow." Wow? Wow isn't the word I would use, and if I did use that word, it'd be with a lot more emotion. He sounds like he's apologizing for bumping into someone's car. If Larry King had asked, "So you didn't realize you dinged that Buick's bumper?" THEN, Chris's reaction of "It's crazy to me, like, wow..." would be appropriate.

Not appropriate for beating the living tar out of your girlfriend.

Plus - and here's a liar bonus - his mom is a lying sack too. She says she's never known him to ever do anything violent. Liar. Chris Brown and Rihanna were both involved in some big physical fights (in which Chris broke out some car windows in anger, and he shoved Rihanna after she slapped him). His mom's a liar, and she raised a woman-beating liar.

There's a special place in hell for guys like him (in the next cell over from Michael Vick).

I think he's just trying hard to clean his image up but it's impossible right now. He tries hard on finding good words to help him but people keep on seeing other things on what he says.

When the news first broke on this story, I have to admit I was shocked. I really didn't take Chris Brown for someone with a thug mentality. So, of course, I wondered if the story of the assault was blown out of porportortion. Granted, I hadn't seen the picture of Rihanna's face after the attack at the time.

However, after seeing that horrific picture, there was no doubt in my mind that he needs serious professional help. His half hearted apology and pitiful response on Larry King left me cold. He seriously needs to take a realistic look at his anger issues and his mother needs to stop making excuses for him.
