Yes! If it has been going on for three days it is definitely an ER situation!

The reason for the green color might be:

"Vomit can be yellow if only stomach contents are being thrown up, barring any yellow colored foods or food coloring being involved. If the food makes it into the first part of the intestines before it is vomited the vomit make have a green color. Both of these are due to bile, but the difference is from where in the system does the vomit originate."

Cats vomit for a number of reasons, some of which are not serious, but continuous vomiting is serious!

It could be from chewing on plants, three days straight would worry me enough to bring my cat the Vet and see if they pin-point exactly what is causing the vomiting.

Call a veterinarian right away. This is definitely urgent for at least three reasons:

  1. Three days of vomiting means your kitten is likely dehydrated beyond his ability to recover without some iv or subq fluids.
  2. Food that is making it into the intestinal tract and coming back up could be sign of a blockage in the intestines which warrants immediate attention.
  3. Plant material ingested may be toxic. Find any plants that may have been eaten and bring a sample to the vet so they can determine toxicity.
