I hope these few poems bring you some comfort, after all they still remain with us.
I stood by your bed last night... I came to have a peep. I could see that you'd been crying, And you found it hard to sleep
I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear, "It's me. I haven't left you. I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here."
I was close to you at breakfast... I watched you pour your tea. You were thinking of the many times Your hands reached down to me.
I was with you at my grave today... You tend to it with such care. I want to reassure you That I'm not lying there.
I walked you towards the house As you fumbled for the key. I gently put my paw on you... I smiled and said, "its me."
You looked so very tired As you sank into a chair. I tried so hard to let you know That I was sitting there.
It's wonderful for me to be So near you everyday, To say to you with certainty, "I never went away."
You sat there very quietly, Then smiled... I think you knew That in the stillness of the evening I was very close to you.
And when the time is right for you To cross the brief divide, I'll rush across to meet you And we'll stand there side by side.
I have so many things to show you! There's so much for you to see.
Be patient, live your journey out, Then come home to be with me.
Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an
animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet
goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our
special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of
food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and
vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong
again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times
gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small
thing: they each miss someone very special, someone who was left
behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly
stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his
eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, he breaks from the group,
flying over the green grass, faster and faster. You have been
spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling
together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses
rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and
you look once more into those trusting eyes, so long gone from your
life, but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together...
I am truely sorry

I can't sleep, I am up with a sick kitty who is most likely going to die tomorrow. Or tonight. She wont close her eyes. She is soo skinny, .
and wont eat. She just got weaker and weaker. Sometimes she will still jump on me. She acts paralyzed, but when she sees me sometimes she will get up and move to me and lay down. I have been trying to take care of her, but nothing seems to be working. It is sad she is just laying there with her eyes open. I want her to close them and just sleep, and maybe you know. I hope by tomorrow it does happen. I put a flea collar next to her that one of my older kittens had on. She was a stray kitten, the one who is dying, along with 3 other brother kitties. My oldest kitten seems to help take care of them all. So that is good. It is most likely going to be to late tomorrow to do anything about the poor baby.
So basically the kinds of answer that I want
I am just wanting someone to help put me in a better mood. Tell me a kitty joke, or talk about kitty heaven, or just something, tell me stories about your crazy silly pets.
Being cheered up last time I lost a kitty really helped. I am not so attached to this one though, but I still am a little.

Made me happy cry. I would have tons of kitties run up to me though. We live in the middle of no where were a lot of kitties get dumped and I always try to nurse them back to health. Most of the time I do. We give them to good homes.

I am sadden by the news of your kitten. I recently lost my German Shepherd who was my best friend. I hope these few poems bring you some comfort, after all they still remain with us.
