Bugatti Veyron 16.4, costs approximately $1.5 million U.S.
Statistics available in the link below, crazy fast but crazy expensive. If I had more money than I possibly knew what to do with (as in absurdly rich) I might buy one and take it out on the Autobahn.

It comes down to that. To us working stiffs, a car is a box we use to travel from A to B. There's a smaller segment of us workers that also see the car as more than it, but there's only so much we can afford.
Some people buy these ultra expensive exotics because they are collectors, some do it because they are fun to drive, while others simply buy them to show off.
