54 Miles per gallon and only $2,500?!?!?!
I'd get one of these just as a dog car!!! We wonder why our car companies can't compete!
I wonder how safe this car is... and the emissions.

Yes, this seems like a great compact car to drive. I have seen little police cars similar to this in New York City, and have seen cars that are like this in Miami. I am not sure it would be allowed on all roads or in all states, but it definitely seems like a fun compact car to drive.

I would certainly do so. I realize it is relatively much larger, but I bought a Nissan Versa (which I am extremely pleased with) as a commuter vehicle for myself, with the flexibility of taking the whole family places occasionally. I enjoy the flexibility of doing so, but we have another larger vehicle that accommodates those needs, and as my commute is 15+ miles each way, in largely urban traffic, I would be very pleased to have a very small, efficient vehicle for daily commuting (which was largely achieved with the Versa, but the Nano would be another level of that entirely, which I would welcome).

While I like the idea of a cheap compact car I don't think I would feel right in the car since I am 6 foot tall and not a little guy. Plus, I am use to little cars with what I drive but since they are sports cars the feel of driving something like this would really be difficult for me as well. This car will easily fit in 4 six footers comfortably. Tata's chairman who drove it onto the stage during the car's launch is a six footer himself. He comfortably got out of the car, and also looked like he had a lot of head room in the driver's seat.
