What is your experience buying a vehicle from eBay cars and trucks?

1. I bought a 1998 Chevrolet Suburban, leather interior, 1500, V8, with low miles.
2. We drove the car home from the dealer.
3. The tires were too big for the vehicle, but I didn't realize that until years later.
4. The right front light aim was wrong and the aiming control had been broken.
5. The A/C worked but the heater would work on and off on long trips. The problem had something to do with the compressor.

I purchased a Mercury Villager from a soldier that was being deployed to Iraq. I had some difficulty taking delivery, but eventually got everything worked out to my satisfaction. The vehicle was is good condition. It did need a few things repaired. It lasted for three years before I needed a major repair, but I don't blame the previous owner or ebay. I blame Nissan who made the part. I still have the Villager. I use it as a spare, or to take to the airport and leave when on an overnighter.
