What is the SmartGridCity Colorado Project?
SmartGridCity Colorado Project is "a new joint venture between the US Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and the University of Colorado at Boulder." This is a project that is being carried out by the company XCEL ENERGY in Colorado at Boulder "aiming to create the first fully functioning smart grid-enabled city in the world."

1.It will give the companies that make the car feed back on their vehicles
2.It will provide residents with information and feedback on the cars they wish to purchase
3.Car makers will gain valuable knowledge on how to improve hybrid vehicles
4.It will reduce the amount of energy being use and provide more electrical energy for the hybrid cars.
