Yes Range Rovers are great SUVs if I had the money I would buy one in a heart beat. Been in a few very nice ride. So if your thinking about buying one I would go for it. Good luck.

Ford used to own them...if that tells you anything. I believe Tada, a middle eastern company, owns them now. With a Range Rover you really need to do your research. Find a year you like and then search for problems/issues specific to that year. Not all Range Rovers are the same. The problematic models will cost you an arm and a leg to maintain. If you're on the market for any good SUV you might consider older Toyota Land Cruisers. Very classy (old money looks :) ) vehicle that will run FOREVER.

if you follow the automotive press and not your personal biases you find that the range was a really bad brand when ford took over. it is people like you that are turning this country into a second rate nation, I would bet the average auto worker is a better worker than you are.

...and my personal bias is? I gave the history of the company's ownership and then I suggested that the buyer do their research. I don't mind criticism, but please keep it productive by relating the the original question.

The name of the company that bought them is Tata (not Tada) and they are based in India (not the Middle East).
