It sounds like an amplifier (for your Pioneer cd player) and wiring issue (for your retractable antenna). An eliminiation processes need to be applied here.
First, replace the head unit with the factory one (if it is still available). Otherwise, you need to borrow different head unit. If this fix this issue, then you know that it's the amplifier in the head unit.
If the issue persists despite the head unit replacement, it's time to check the loose wiring from the head unit to the speakers. Also check if the wiring on the actual speakers are properly secured.
The above process should also work for your antenna issue. Perhaps, the head unit itself is having an issue (for both antenna and amplifier).

Trouble with my Pioneer DEH-30MP. Sound just disappears after a couple of seconds.
I'm having trouble with my car cd-player (Pioneer DEH-30MP).
When I start the car and turn the player on, it will only work fine for up to 3 seconds, then the sound disappears. Or well, If I turn the volume up as much as possible, I can barely hear some music coming out of the speakers.
Also, when the sound goes away, my retractable antenna retracts (which its supposed to do when i turn the cd-player off).
Any ideas what could be causing this?
Maybe the amps in the cd-player are busted?
