The Peapod, a subsidiary of Chrysler and is one of many GEM (Global Electric Motorcars) that are available. GEM is the name of the company, by the way.
They are all NEV's (neighbourhood electric cars). Their style is similar to that of a Smart Car of Daimler AG.
The Peapod is a battery electric car and can drive up to about 25 mph. It is only allowed in areas that are 35 mph or under.
Battery electric Smart Cars however can range to about 120 mph and differ in size, shape and style.
