You are asking value, worth, cost to performance ratio?

The 599 is far from the most expensive road car out there, which this week should be over $1 million US.

If you are looking for worth, there are road cars that have been sold at auction for over $10 million US. Back in 2008 I recall that one of the original 39 Ferrari 250 GTOs passed hands for 15.7 million sterling pounds.

According to Forbes, a Bugatti Royale was sold for $8.7 million US in 1987, that's over $17.6 million adjusted for inflation as of the date of the article (July 2006).

Cost to performance ratio is going to be upsetting to those that spend a lot of money in these exotics. There are plenty of high-performance cars that can beat the 599 if you just look at the numbers. Some of those are going to be a lot less expensive.

Of course, if you can afford a 599, you probably don't care about how much better or worse the other cars are. All that you care is that you get to drive the 599.

.Bugatti Veyron $1,192,057. This is by far the most expensive street legal car available on the market today. It is the fastest accelerating car reaching 0-60 in 2.5 seconds. It claims to be the fastest car with a top speed of 253 mph+. However, the title for the fastest car goes to the SSC Ultimate Aero which exceed 253 mph pushing this car to 2nd place for the fastest car.
