No. Actually none of the Big Ameican car companies will have increase car and truck sales in 2010. America is still in a recession and its citizens will look to save not spend. Also for the past couple of years America car companies have underperformed and received stiff competition from Japanese car companies who have the edge over them. Also would this be an increase car and truck sales worldwide or only America? Do America car companies only sell cars mainly for the American market or do they cater cars for all over the world like the Japanese. I may not be an expert in this field but to me the problem with the companies is that they only catered for America. While the japenese companies(toyota, nissan, honda) took over the world due to their more attractive sporty and reliable cars right now American car companies(gm,ford, chevrolet) are closing plants laying off workers and filing for bankruptcy. The main reason why they would now have increase sales are 1.The world is still in a recession. 2. The Japanese car companies have dominated car sales all over the world and will continue to do so 3. The big three will have to reevaluate their position in the car mark to see what they can do to turn around their misfortunes. And these are the main reasons why sales will not increase
