The 3.7-liter gasoline engine in the stock 2009 Hummer H3 produces 239 horsepower (178 kW) and 241 pound-feet (327 N-m) of torque. The hybrid H3 by Raser Technologies uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 268 horsepower (200 kW) to charge the batteries, which in turn power an electric motor with the same rated power output but about 300 pound-feet (407 N-m) of torque.
