For the price and performance, would you buy a Hyundai Genesis in 2010 or a BMW?

Which BMW would you buy with comparable performance and price?

Could you buy a BMW with the Hyundai Genesis performance for a comparable price?

I'd go with a BMW, even a 3 series (which puts it around the same price as the Genesis though you do get a smaller vehicle). I love the handling and performance of BMWs and have not noticed that in any Japanese car I've ever driven (I drive a Subaru and they advertise the heck out of their superior handling, I haven't seen it though). BMWs have a great driving feel that they are all engineered for and there is no one part of thing that makes it handle this way, it is the overall engineering of the vehicle. For this reason I'd take the BMW over the Genesis, even though the Genesis offers more features and a larger vehicle I don't believe it is as well refined of a vehicle as any BMW is.

BMW's driver better than nearly every car out there. Very few cars have their handling capabilities on the road and those other cars that do are typically exotics. Everybody wants to be like a BMW but it's just not the same. Buyers who choose the other car always regret not buying the BMW after.

The 3 series is a solid car and while the 1 series is a little smaller it's quite a fun car to drive.

What part difference give the BMW better handling? Can those parts be added to a Hyundai Genesis and still keep the price below the BMW?
