Does the swine flue make traveling with a baby unsafe?

I am wondering if air travel is safe given the increased risk of catching infectious diseases such as swine flu on the plane.

I would be very careful about taking a baby on a commercial aircraft. Especially if it's a long flight. I would also take into account the time of year that we would be flying. If it's the flu season, don't do it.

At any rate, take your baby to its doctor and get his or her opinion as to the strength of your baby's immune system. And, would it be advisable to take such a trip. Medical advise is really important when it comes to the well being of your baby.
