Could you go a week without driving a car?

If you are far from work, use public transportation or carpool to work. I believe this is reasonable for most people. Help the environment out!

I could do without my car for a week if the conditions were right. If it is nice outside my son and I ride our bikes to drop him off at school. I could ride my bike to work, although it's about 14 miles to work one way would consume alot more transit time. I would also be sweaty and hot when I got to work and would probably have to shower there. The answer is yes I COULD go without my car for a week, but I probably won't until maybe retirement. Then maybe I could go a week without leaving my yard. I live in a small town with no mass transit and work in a town with very little mass transit. This would be much easier in a metro area.

I never own a car. It is too expensive for me. Public transportation might need some getting used to, but once you got the hang of it, you'll be reluctant to drive unless you really have to.

I could never go a week with out driving my car, I love my car. I don't think I could go a week with out driving at all, it is hard. I am a car addict.

I could, and do! I freelance write full-time from home, and the Woman does the shopping! Sometimes, I'm surprised I still know HOW to drive! :)

Absolutely not! I need my car every day. Appointments, to trying to find a job, to back and forth from my fiancees house. It's crazy...the bus is not reliable in my opinion and well for one it's Fall and cold...but I'm am not the type to walk in heels and nice clothes all over town... :)
