I am actually interested
I actually remember reading an article way back when and it used google maps to explain all the different types of Interchanges, I searched but I have failed to re-find it.

I never really thought about them until you brought it up, but you are right, they are pretty interesting. Those busy highway interchanges are very impressive and nice to look at. I would be a little worried about getting lost if I had to drive though one of those hehe.

Yep - I always find myself trying to figure out which road ends up going where. It's like doing a pencil maze to get to the end. Doing a pencil maze is much easier because you are looking down and can see the answer but driving around an unfamiliar crazy configuration of roads can be a complex puzzle with the added stress of traffic and not knowing where you are! I always get confounded if I miss my exit in or around Washington DC - then I am like a rat in a real maze trying to get thehell out! It is fascinating though.
