Insurance rates don't depend on the brand... it would make it expensive or high based on how comprehensive the coverage you are getting specially if you have own damage and car napping protection... the premium would be based on the actual market value of your car minus depreciation (if it's not brand new) and that amount would be your highest coverage for your car then the company will have corresponding premium for that amount... plus additional charges on other coverage/protection like third person liability, calamity/natural disaster, etc...
Just consult with the insurance company near you and ask for a quotation anyway that's supposed to be free... =)
