My mother bought a Kia probably about 10 years ago also around the same time they first came out. It has always been a piece of junk. Things breaking down on it constantly. But I think that they are built alot better now and have heard good things about the new ones.

My mom has a red KIA sedan. She bought it 10 years ago. She did not have any major problems with this car for the first 8 years. Now is old, but it is still running. Nowdays she just use it for little things like a trip to the supermarket.
