The number of Indian students going abroad to the US to study IT and Technology based courses has double over the past decade up to 83833 for the period of 2006-2007.
Google is believed to have around 10 billion web pages in its databases and if Yahoo and MSN each have at least one quarter then that would make 15 billion indexed web pages from the three top search engines alone. Any web page owner would want to see his web page listed as a top 10 search result for any search engine. The demand for SEO professionals is very high and is expected to continue to be so for the future.

India is one of the fastest growing user base on the Internet. There are already several people and companies offering services in India and it is actually a very competitive market. Obviously, if your SEO services can stand out the rest of the pack, you chances of succeeding are much higher. Bear in mind that being another one of those who "provides" how tos?, will have difficulties as Indian Bloggers are now very well informed and some are very, very good. Just like anything Internet, there are new comers everday and if you can tap in this niche, then you should be OK.
