What is the best GPS? Brand? Based of Cost?

I'm looking to get a GPS for my father in the $100 range. I think right now I should get the Nextar Q4 Series for $99, but I saw a Garmin for $150 and am wondering if I should pay more to get a better one. Any input on getting a GPS?

its definitley worth the money, you cannot put a price on being stranded somewhere and not know how to get to where u want to be. I would definitley opt for the better GPS if it is more simplistic, if your getting it for your dad keep that in mind.

TomTom is one of the most reliable and easy to use. It tends to be more expensive than other brands, especially unknown cheap devices, but you can find relatively cheap TomTom on Ebay.

well my father has had like 10 diffrent kinds and bitches about evreyone he has had so i coulnd tell you..lol
