Can't read Vista menus and prompts on my 42 inch screen from 12 feet away. Is there a solution?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

M$In most laptops, after right clicking the desktop and selecting "personalize" and selecting "display settings", you can select to attach a second monitor. You PC's LCD is then the primary, your TV the secondary. You can then select the best resolution for each and you can drag items from one screen to the other.

BTW, You may not be able to change the resolution to one you can read as your TV may not support a readable resolution. I helped a guy recently and his huge widescreen (don't remember exactly but it was the biggest one I've ever seen) didn't support something that was readable..
