Need help in finding / getting into a trial of cloned antibodies, especially at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center
Last year a 52 year old man with advanced skin cancer that had spread to the lungs and lymph nodes was given an experimental treatment that involved making billions of clones of some of his own CD4+ T cells and injecting them into his bloodstream. His cancer is now in remission (i.e. his tumors have gone away).
My sister has pleomorphic adenocarcinoma of the parotid gland that has spread to the brain. (It also spread to the lungs but those tumor were removed and there is no sign of any lung tumors now.) Does this treatment hold promise for her? Is there a way to get into such a trial, very soon?
Thank you!
(The experiment was done by the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/746074 )

I found several adenocarcinoma trials that you can check them out and see if they suit your sister.
