Can you make the Firefox text box autocomplete drop-down activate with a single click instead of a double click?

The way it works by default is that if the text box has the page focus (ie. the cursor is blinking in the text box) then one click makes the autocomplete drop-down come up. However, most of the time the desired text box doesn't have the focus, so you have to double click, once to get focus and once to get the drop down.

I want it to act more like a menu item that drops down on a single click any time. Is there any about:config setting or user chrome tweak to accomplish this?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.
