Can you freeze (pah-TAY)? In my house, we call it chopped liver. I made a wonderful batch, need to save it.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

As long as it is thoroughly cooked it is safe to freeze.
As far as taste, it is impossible to tell if it would stay the same. Seal it up nicely, try not to let it sit in the freezer for a long time (more than two weeks), and cook it the same way you did the first time (if possible), and it should taste pretty close to the original.
BTW the dish you are describing is pâté. It was never actually typed out in your question.

Glad to have helped!
I actually had to copy and paste the foreign accent mark-type things. The keyboard on my laptop definitely doesn't have those ones on it lol
:)
Thank you for your help. The answer makes sense since the chopped liver is cooked.
Re: the phonetical pronounciation I typed, it's nice to see someone's keyboard that has the diacritical marks that yours does. My ipod itouch doesn't (or I can't find it).
