Can you adopt children if you are a gay couple?
Are there requirements for a gay couple in adopting a child? Does a gay couple have to be married to adopt? Is it easier for a gay couple to adopt over a single woman?

THe couple does not have to be married to adopt. When the application for adoption is made they are looking for the best interests of the child. Therefore if both parents are able to care for and will provide a loving home for the child then they will be granted the adoption. The govt adoption cannot deny an adoption for a gay couple if they are an loving home for the child to be raised in.
As for the question if it is easier for a gay couple over a single women, the official response seems to be that as stated above, each application is weighed on its own.
The only thing that I can give for advice is that prove you can provide a loving home for the child or children.
And private adoption is not always easier, if you can provide a home for a child in the care of the govt they would rather have the child in a loving home than in their system. It is always better for the child.
This is the information that I have gathered so that my partner and I can adopt a child.
Good luck.!!!!!!!!
