Can someone tell me how Sonia Sotomayor is qualified for the Supreme Court?

Shes a lawyer for one, she has been a federal for a long time, see above post. and assistant district attorney. It seems like she is highly qualified to me. the president has the right to put good pics on the court and this seems like one. I think that for conservatives John Roberts was a good pic, For liberals I am not sure that Sotomayor is all the liberal, I do think she will be a good justice based on her life experience and record. I personally think we have had a lot of conservative judges and it is long past time to start putting liberals on the supreme court.

Just heard this on Headline News this morning. She has been a federal judge for 17 years. Sounds like a good qualification to me!
