Can i trick, modify or reverse engineer the application named WHERE to allow for user defined homescreen widget locations? Details inside.

For the most part the issue here is that the android application "Where" by Where Inc. doesn't allow (or have an option for) as far as I can tell to utilize user defined locations for the homescreen widgets.

This especially bad for the homescreen widgets sections like zipcar.
If I am even a few extra miles away from a zipcar location the default homescreen where widget will not display available vehicles at the closest point. I would actually have to move closer to a available vehicle site.

Best solution gets the tip.

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

1. click your location at the bottom of the home screen.
2. then scroll down and click "enter any location manually"
3. enter the town or city you are looking for, it will change your location within the widgets to something closer
Then the widgets will adjust to your new defined location. If you run a zipcar search now, the zipcar locations in the place you are searching for should appear.

Hope this helps!

I'm sorry this isn't working for you. We have tested it on all the android devices in the office and it is working on all of them. All I can suggest is try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Check that you don't have your phone set to automatically find your GPS location and make sure you manually enter Providence, RI when you search for that area.
