While in the Middle East, I was able to play with henna and would often tattoo intricate designs on my hands (both palm and back) for weddings. One thing I found is that henna is very drying to the skin. Until it faded, I had to reapply lotion to my hands since they always felt dry. Keep that in mind if you want to put henna on your penis.

Keep in mind that the thinnest skin is on your penis. It will feel dry with henna and may feel irritated if covered with henna. It will last about 2 or 3 weeks, so if you can live with feeling a little strange down there... I'd say go for it!
