B) Ease of use, now I've got a car there are no transportation issues, and I have a smaller hike tent for if I'm going walking. I prefer a pop tent to spending 30 minutes properly setting up a tent. Plus my pop tent is much much larger - I hardly fit in the old tent any more!
C) £50 (~$75 USD) in 2008

(?) for Popup owners:
A) How long did you tent camp prior to?
B) What was the deciding factor?
C) $ of first popup, what year
I am a 47 year old husband and father of 7.
I spent 18 years as an mechanical engineer in the automobile industry, which, needless to say, at this point and time is not a favorable career.
I have been working a tent/popup concept for about 7 years now, and before I make my first prototype I would like to be able to gather some Voice of the Customer information.
