I drank a bottle of 1990 to other day, it was amazing, and was going to peak within the year. So, it can sit around for a while longer, but would be good now too. The tannins will go out of it in a few more years, but to get specifics you should call the winery and see how that one is holding up. They might still be selling it, which means they will be tasting it and should know how it has aged.
