For general banking or personal banking, Bank of America is definitely the way to go because it's a national bank, more branches nationwide should you travel. The thing is, regional banks such as TD Bank could offer better, more personalized service, but the trade off is not a lot of branches outside of town.
Both will offer the same checking, savings, CD, loans, etc.
