For me these things are important:
1. Easy access in and out of traffic for the stop. I hate stopping somewhere and taking 20 minutes to get back into traffic.
2. A clean store.
3. Customer service people who are not rude and do their job in a expeditious manner.
4. Gas prices that are competitive.
If the above factors are in order, I will stop in regardless of what promo they are running.

A clean and well lit parking lot with nobody hanging around the outside of the store.
