Hi Jeff,
The first rule of powerpoint is: Don't use powerpoint :)
With that being said I truly believe the use of visuals in presenting a business plan should be on a "only-if-absolutely-necessary" basis. So unless you're demo-ing your product or service or want a show a very brief trailer video that articulates the core value your business will provide, you shouldn't be using a visual.
Presenting a business to a potential investor all hinges on your ability to connect with the person on a relational level. More than anything else, they are investing in you. If they are not confident in you personally, they won't open their checkbooks - even if the idea has merit. An investor is looking for someone who they can trust to see the project through with unwavering discipline and drive.
So, for this reason I wouldn't recommend posting it online. After connecting with a potential investor in person and discussing the details of your concept, the full business plan should be a take-away that they can dig into in more detail after the initial meeting.
In the end it comes down to selling a potential investor on your drive, passion, and drive. It's only then that your idea will be taken with any sense of validity.
