The question should be, what do they NOT manufacture. :)

The origin of the product, very rarely, determines the final destination for manufacturing. Cost, taxes, and skill are the driving forces for determining location of manufacturing.

It's amazing that a relatively small country (population around 23million) in Asia has achieved so much in the last twenty years.

Taiwan is the world leader in IT hardware and semiconductors in the following areas:

A. Motherboards and Note Book PC
- Taiwanese companies such as Asus and Acer are producing more than 90% of Motherboards and Note Book PC that we are using in every corner of the world.

C. Semiconductor Foundries
