I don't think it's a publicity stunt, but seems to be a business decisions (smart or not, only time will tell). FAO Schwartz has a great rep (at least in OUR family) and, as I recall, doesn't have too many stores, but they're in prime locations. It might just be a good thing for TRU.

TRU is more expensive now than Walmart for toys. With FAO it will be worse.
