There are 52 major Coal Mines in the US. Most are in the central US with a large concentration in Wyoming; however, there are a few in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The high producing coal mine is The North Antelope Rochelle Mine/ Power River Coal, LLC which produces 91,523,280 tons of coal. Did I just do your homework for you?
