The reasons for people wanting to leave a job are usually stated as money and benefits. Other reasons are exhaustion and a feeling of being under appreciated.
Hopefully that happens soon!

Is there really a "mass exodus" of workers from their companies at the end of a recession?
I heard that after the last two recessions, there was a mass exodus of people leaving their employers to change jobs. The thinking is that employees wait out the storm, watch how companies treat their employees and then leave as soon as the market turns around. Thought I heard the stat quoted by a guest on Real Time with Bill Maher in the Fall of 2008. Could you find the original source of that statistic (article, research study, etc)? Thanks.

We can all imagine the reasons why this is plausible, but finding the concrete evidence to prove that it did happen is another matter.
