My example is probably way off from what you intended ... but this is what came to my mind after reading your question.
For example, the character James Kirk on the show Star Trek portrays characteristics of leadership. He repeatedly puts himself in personal danger, one might say recklessly because it does not appear he ever gives it any thought. He could just as easily assign another, capable person, to the same assignment instead of doing it himself.
I am sure his rational is that his life experiences makes him most qualified to deal with any situation, and by dealing with a dangerous situation he is protecting his interests which are his ship and the lives under his command which he responsible for.

Leading a team to accomplish a goal.
Understanding the views of the ordinary workers.
Offer guidance, advice, and help, all while letting them work independently. It's a tough balance.
For example, if the leader is "wreckless personally", it could possibly affect their leadership skills.
Depends on the details.
But I personally would say "Yes", it is possible to be a good leader and yet live a wreckless, risk-taking, disorganized personal life.
I've seen it happen, both personally, and viewing international news.
Former President Bill Clinton was a very well liked diplomat, by some, worldwide.
But his personal life got a little....well, shall we say.... "in the news"..........

No. A reckless person is someone who takes action without thinking or caring about the consequences of an action. A leader is someone who is responsible for their own actions and the actions of others. However, just because it appears someone is reckless does not necessarily mean they are. I think yes. The leader of the company is the one who is making decisions and hiring competent people. If the company's future is not good, the leader has to find out the reason and make changes.

I agree with you. My opinion only here, a bad leader is a dictator who only cares about themselves and power. A good leader leads people on a group mission or task. An effectiveleader also knows what it is like to be an ordinary worker.
