Not exactly, rather I view them more as an inspiration to do better. It only shows that if a man can do it, a woman can too, showing equality among genders.
It also shows that if a woman can do better than what a man can,
a man can persevere even more and be inspired by strong-willed and career oriented women, to give their best to excel even more.

These men are very competitive, often have low self esteem and feel threatened by anyone who may take their place.

Do career women a threat to a powerful man?
Most women trading in their personal life for the career of their dreams. Sometimes push their self to the limit. To be successful in their crafts. Do these women a threat to men?

Yes, career-wise, socially and psychologically speaking, some men are threatened by women when the men are in upper-level careers. Some men are threatened by other men, too. These men are very competitive, often have low self esteem and feel threatened by anyone who may take their place.
