Freedom Plaza is an open plaza located in Northwest Washington, D.C. USA. It was designed in 1980 and mostly made of inlaid stone and depictions of Pier Charles L'Enfant's Plan. This plan was for Washington city. There is also a statue and a water fountain in it. A time capsule of some things that belonged to Martin Luther King, Jr.'s was buried at the site.
