Can Japanese used trucks be used as hunting truck and farm vehicles?

Used Japanese Mini trucks from makers such as Daihatsu, Suzuki, Subaru and Mitsubishi are very popular especially in the United States and Canada. Because of their compact size and versatility, these mini trucks can be used for variety of purposes.

I am living in Japan and had had the opportunity to use a Kei truck.

They are really fun to drive and are very rugged.

The wikipedia article link above states that they are typically used for hunting and farming in the US. It also says they are legal for driving on rural roads in some states (something I was not aware of)

I found a link here for a website for purchasing a kei truck in the US.
