Are employment contracts enforcible in Indiana?

I signed a 12 month employment contract in August 2008 and the employer abruptly fired me. Long sob story and lot's of speculation, but I really don't understand why. Can I sue her for the balance due on the contract or am I SOL?

Indiana is an at-will state, but I don't know if a contract trumps that or not. It seems like it would, from all the news stories in the past about university presidents/corporation presidents and the terms of their contracts.

I'd do something like contact the free legal service at the Indiana University Law School for a quick answer to your question. I'm not a lawyer and I don't play one on TV....only when my kids are squabbling over whose turn it is for a treat.
