Click "Edit" beside the map heading, and enter in a location.

I think what @dr2biz is trying to ask is, how he can show the actual location of some point. I'm guessing the Google Map that comes up, is in the wrong location. Is there a way to embed your own google map link?

Chris is correct, what location @drs2biz are you trying to get on a map? What page are you working on?

I am trying to get a map fixed for the page on Nanshan Buddhism Cultural Park. It comes up with 3 pins, but if I try to make it more location-specific (eg by nominating Nanshan instead of Yacheng Town) the map is too local to get a view at provincial level. The map I have is a compromise solution.

You're right, it would be ideal if you could plug in your own coordinates, Google Maps is usually spot on, but this location must be more difficult for it.

A workaround until we have that option, is if you can find an image of a better map, you can add that to your page, instead of using the Google Map.

Sorry, Jeff. I live in China so the Flickr URL is not much use to me until the government here unblocks it! ;-)

Maybe you could put the lat/lon in the location box? Just get the lat/lon from google maps/earth.
