You know, it'd be funny if he failed it (though I doubt he would, since he seems very helpful and nice), and couldn't get the brown belt rank in his own created project.

Congrats to him, and hope he gets 2 the Black belt quicker, so we can look fwd to more innovative ideas from him!
And just in case he doesn't know how to tie it yet...

TEST: @jasoncalacanis Brown Belt Test Pass 10/10 PASS!
Darcy Andries Logan: Introduction
=================
In order to reach the Brown Belt level on Mahalo you must demonstrate focus, spirit, strength, empathy and discipline, while helping grow the community.
It has come to my attention that jasoncalacanis has obtained enough points to achieve his brown belt test. I feel it is up to us, as Mahalo Answer users to give him this test. I have contacted my fellow brown belts in order to get his evaluation.
It is with my utmost pride to announce that Jason has passed his brown belt test! Notes are posted below. Please feel free to add your own evaluations or congratulations!!
=================
As CEO, and because there are no other brown belts, Jason automatically receives 4.0 points.
darcy logan 1.999 (Pass)
Without Jason Calacanis there would be no Mahalo Answers. He is the driving force behind it. Not only has he given his time, his energy and his driving spirit to the project, he has also given something very near to many of us—his money. Still, in an uncertain economy, this only goes to show his commitment and belief in Mahalo Answers.
But has much power he has over Mahalo Answers, he never fails to listen to others. He is constantly asking for user feedback and participation. Despite his overwhelming success on the Internet, he does not presume that he is all-knowing and takes in other people's points of view. While some might argue that he deserves a 2.0, his continual failure to give top users a Wii cannot go unnoticed and earned him a deduction of 0.001 point. This will go unnoticed since scores are rounded up.
Easyeboy: 2.0 (Pass)
Give Jason Calacanis a break, he's got enough real life tests to go through! He started this site, so he really could be any belt he chooses to be. With his passion, charisma, and enthusiasm, he's definitely a brown belt, and would not be anything lower. He answers questions with thought and care. He is usually quick to answer, but not always, yet more importantly Jason has a 27% best answer rating, is #1 in giving tips, and is persistent about getting feedback. 10/10 for brown belt!
jeffhoard 1.8 (Pass)
Jason Calacanis is our fearless leader who has always been exciting (sometimes too exciting) to work for, helping his ideas work has been my responsibility going back to the Netscape/AOL days. His participation on Answers has been great as has his promotional abilities. You lose .2 for your spelling...Always double check your spelling man, especially before you super promote one of your threads. Either way I do my best to fix your and other peoples errors when I see them. Congrats on your Brown Belt.

Does he really need the test >_> I mean, he is the founder of this fine website isn't he? You know, it'd be funny if he failed it (though I doubt he would, since he seems very helpful and nice), and couldn't get the brown belt rank in his own created project.

It says it's for not giving top users a Nintendo Wii. I find it a little strange their is a hierarchy here, but its also kinda nice to know that the people can't just spam their way to the top and abuse the respect people with different belts have.
