Once a Mahaloian reaches 8000 points they become eligible for their Brown Belt on Mahalo. However, that belt is only presented after Mahalo staff consult the members recent numbers and activity to see if that Mahaloian is in fact ready to become a Brown Belt. Today we test @girlieq3000:

Girlieq3000 has become an important member in the Mahalo community because of her involvement in every facet of the community. Not only does she ask interesting questions, such as "What is the easiest way to approach your employer about the status of your job," but she takes part in answering, tasks and page management. Girlieq3000 could maybe add more of her own questions - she's a decent 109th in questions asked - but she's 60th in answers and 34th in best answers, earning that an impressive 60% of the time.

She answers a wide range of questions and it's evident that she does a good job because she gets Best Answer on general questions with many responses. She has participated in tasks and barnraisings and earned M$25 for a great how to page just last week. I like that she participates in every element at Mahalo and I'm looking forward to her continued involvement and increasing her activity in all of these areas.

Girlieq3000 has been a proactive and positive presence on Mahalo. She's been helpful and generous on the Answers pages. Although she doesn't tend to ask many questions, her answers were chosen "best" 60% of the time, and every answer she has given was voted "helpful" which is phenomenal! She manages some pages that get huge hits—including a detailed and informative page on tattoos—and since becoming a Mahalo "How-To" team member, she's been super productive. Just this past week, she has written expertly on everything from wine, cell phones and coffee. I hope she continues to be an upbeat, helpful and important member of the Mahalo community!

Girlieq3000 has been a great Mahaloian since we first met her, she has answered well over 400 questions already and has a best answer percentage of 60, which well above par on Mahalo. Girlieq3000 has been one of the Mahaloians who has really stepped up her activity since Mahalo 2.0 was launched and has already taken on Page Management of 45 pages. She also has been quite the taskmaster by taking part in the Barnraising competitions and joining the How-To team. I am more than happy to present @girlieq3000 with her Brown Belt.
