BROWN BELT TEST: CP24 - Pass 4/4

Welcome to the Brown Belt Test of @cp24

8000 points is not the only thing you need to earn your brown belt... You must be judged by the Mahalo elders.

CP24 has gotten to a brown belt VERY fast. I work here, and he's kicking my butt! What's amazing to me is that, going through his answer history, he's not just speeding through the site picking up points wherever he can. He's genuinely getting involved in conversations, sharing personal knowledge and just generally making Mahalo Answers a more interesting, sociable place to hang out.

Also, I like how he's turned his profile page into kind of a personal "best of" list, and how he picks up on quesitons that aren't receiving answers and tries his best to get some valid, useful info on there. Anyway, when someone has answered over 800 questions and received "Best Answer" on more than HALF of them, you know he's bringing value to the community. He gets my strong support for brown belt status.

This guy has to be the fastest person to ever hit brown belt! Cp24 is a great asset to Mahalo Answers. His answers are amazing, and he always goes out of his way to make new people feel welcome. He is lightening fast when it comes to answering questions and always leaves a detailed answer with a great source to back it up. He is also quick in refuting facts and commenting on answers which means more community involvement. In my opinion, he is definitely worthy of his brown belt, and I can't wait to see how long it takes him to get his black belt!

Although I haven't tabulated any statistics, I think it's fair to say CP24 has been the fastest to achieve the coveted Mahalo Brown Belt. He has flown under the radar by answering the tough, unanswered questions that have stumped the rest of us. Although CP24 has only been on Mahalo for a couple of months, he is already ranked 3rd in Best Answers. CP24 passes with flying colors and I am positive a fast black belt is soon to follow.

CP24 has taken a unique approach to Mahalo Answers. By keeping his head down and answering a gigantic number of open questions, he has managed to come further than most community members in record time. His answers are usually well-researched and always helpful. We appreciate his time and efforts helping MA grow.

Wow. That was super quick. Has anyone ever reached a Brown Belt in that amount of time before?

From @cp24:
"Cp24 joined Mahalo on March 5, 2009"

That's 70 days.

Looking at this might expose his secret:
http://www.mahalo.com/member/cp24?tab=6

He's done a great job of picking up all of the low value, low interest questions and won most of his answers on votes rather then clear "best answers". He has a great (outstanding) best answer ratio to support that.

I haven't really been paying attention. I've seen him up in the top weekly list pretty consistently but never really thought about it. We're lucky that CP24 is around to pick up those low end questions! Great job!

I'm pretty sure @cp24 will make it - can't think of anything that stands in the way.

As @robbrown pointed out, CP is doing a great job, and doing Mahalo a great service, by "clearing off" many questions that would otherwise remain all but completely forgotten. It's only fair that he gets rewarded for his efforts.

@cp24 has reached the brown belt hurdle in a dominant manner; a regular shooting star.

The Mahalo Answers users and member community are better because of his presence.

Now go ahead and give 'em the brown belt!
